Goodsell Super 17 Black Line at Humbucker Music

Humbucker Music now has in stock the latest from Goodsell Amplifiers!

The Super 17 Black Line is the latest evolution of the original Goodsell 17, which at the time was being made on leftover Hammond organ chassis and iron. It features a pair of EL84s, and returns to a 5Y3 rectifier tube, now that JJ can furnish reliable new production.  Then there are 3 very busy 12AX7s – one of which is the long-tail phase inverter while the other two take care of pre-amp, reverb send & return, and tremolo oscillator.

With the exception of the missing tube rectifier and 5/17 switch, the Super 17 Black is identical to the MkIII, making it as close to the original 17 as any version before, only now it comes with at least $500 change in your pocket.

Also available in the Black Line series are the Valpreaux 21, the Dominatrix 18, and the Unibox 10.

The new Goodsell Dominatrix 18 is in stock right now!   Inspired by the Watkins Dominator of the 60′s and 70′s, this new offering has a bit more gain and more early Marshall qualities (as opposed to Vox) than the Super 17 Goodsell is well known for.  Drop by for a demo soon!

Goodsell Super 17 Express

Goodsell Amplifiers has just released a new rendition of their ever popular Super 17!  The Super 17 Express is basically the same hand-made point-to-point amp, except without reverb, tremolo, and the 5/17 watt switch.  As well, it uses a 6X5GT tube rectifier rather than the solid state found in the Mark III.  This little gem weighs in at a remarkable 29 lbs and sounds amazing.  Drop by to check one out!
